All services will be agreed in writing (email or proposal) before work begins.

3. Quotations and payment

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise
  • A deposit may be required before work commences
  • The remaining balance is due upon completion or as per agreed milestones
  • Ongoing services (e.g. hosting or support) may be billed monthly or annually
Failure to make payment may result in suspension of services.

4. Client responsibilities

To ensure smooth delivery, clients agree to:
  • Provide accurate and timely information
  • Supply content, images, and assets where required
  • Review and approve work within a reasonable timeframe

5. Website content

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all content supplied:
  • Is accurate and lawful

6. Revisions and changes

We aim to be flexible and collaborative:
  • Reasonable revisions are typically included within the agreed scope
  • Additional work outside the agreed scope may be chargeable

8. Intellectual property

  • All design and development work remains the property of Disking Design until full payment is received
  • Upon full payment, ownership of the final website design is transferred to the client
  • Disking Design reserves the right to showcase completed work in its portfolio

9. Liability

We aim to deliver high-quality services at all times. However:
  • Disking Design shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of websites or services
  • Clients are responsible for maintaining backups unless a backup service is included

10. Termination

Either party may terminate services with reasonable notice.
  • Any outstanding work completed up to termination will be chargeable
  • Ongoing services may require a notice period (typically 30 days)

11. Data protection

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

13. Project Delays

The Client agrees to provide all requested content, imagery, feedback, approvals and other project materials within a reasonable timeframe. Delays in supplying required information may result in the project schedule being extended..

14. Long-Term Inactive Projects

Projects that remain incomplete for a period exceeding 90 days may be deemed dormant. Disking Design & Development Ltd reserves the right to re-quote the remaining work based upon current labour rates and project requirements..

15. Paused Projects

Any project that remains inactive for more than 30 consecutive days due to a lack of client communication, content, approvals or feedback may be placed on hold until the required information is provided..

16. Projects Exceeding 12 Months

Where a project remains unfinished for more than 12 months from commencement, additional development, administration, content migration, testing, software licensing or project management charges may apply..

17.Additional Labour

Quotations are prepared based on project completion within a reasonable timeframe. Extended delays, multiple revision cycles, changes in technology, platform updates or rework required due to project inactivity may incur additional labour charges..

18.Restarting Suspended Projects

Where a project has been inactive for an extended period, Disking Design & Development Ltd reserves the right to charge a project restart fee to cover re-familiarisation, software updates, testing and administration. Any project remaining incomplete after 6 months due to client delays, lack of content, approvals or communication may be subject to revised pricing, additional labour charges, plugin renewal fees and administration costs. Projects exceeding 12 months may require re-quoting to reflect current rates and technologies..

19. Project Completion

A project shall be deemed substantially complete when all agreed functionality has been delivered and made available for client review..

20. Client Approval

Following final review, clients shall have 14 days to submit any outstanding amendments. Thereafter the project may be considered complete.

21. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
